Completed HKS Drag 180SX 56K Warning

Here it is! My HKS 180SX, and possibly the only 1/24 scale replica in the world. Here's the rundown on major parts involved.

Have just one query though, wasn't the front end of the HKS Drag 180sx extended a little? More like a funny car type shell than the stock body??

Holy Crap! that is so cherry! you are the master! you should do a Dio of a NIRA/NHRA/NDRA type drag strip with your NSX and 180 going heads up!

That's a good question, Chris. According to the pics I have, the shell is more like a funny car. The rear wheel wells should have been opened up a bit. I would have done more harm than good by modifing most of the body. Here's a refrence photo of the actual car.

You know, Dos, you're one of the few guys I see doing replicas of actual tuner cars and you do an excellent job of it. Even without the body mods, this 180 is easily one of the most original builds around.

Say, while you're building replicas, how about building up a Revell 510 as a replica of Todd Kaneka's Rotary 510, like the one you have in your avatar?

MK8, that Nova looks killer. That would be a great project.

I have a few pint size tuner cars next. The Vitz and the Fit, stay tuned.
