Omg...

i was going through the Eclipse board since im into eclipses a bit, and i find this thread "Nos on RS" i believe thats what it is called. Anyways, people there are BASHING the 3000GT like there's no tomorrow, saying a GS, or even an RS!!! can take on a 3000GT, and saying that the SL is actually the lowest of the 3000GT models. WTH? funny aint it?

Lots of people bash the 3000gt. Most people gripe about the weight. But honestly, a VR4 weighs 3900 and a supra TT weighs in at 3600. Hardly any difference, but people think the Supra is one of the best sports cars. I just think that people don't know enough about our cars to be able to say anything honestly about them. I mean look, people who drive them have no complaints.

Woo! Lol I completely agree with what he says. I could never understand why people bash them all the time, and you try to tell them something different and they tell you to go get a "real" sports car like an RX7 or a Supra. I could honestly never find anything wrong with a 3000. But whatever. If they're not smart enough to actually check it out then they don't deserve a 3000 in the first place. i thought most vr-4's were in the upper 37xx pound range not 3900. that is other than the spyders of course. and that would be withen less than 200 pounds of a supra... aka the difference between a different amount of gas in the tank and driver weight potentially.

as for the eclipses, screw them. they are just mad because their big brother is the one in the family that got the good looks (and the muscle i might add). post a link so i can inform them on what is what.

*checks* Hey... you're right. They are closer to 3700. Then I dunno what beef people have with these cars... Stupid...

that guy is my old boss his name is brian lafuente and its kind of a shop car it kicked so many supra cars asses at the supra gathering at a nearby racetrack. it has 150000 miles on it and the car had the drivers tire lodged into the passenger area almost. due to the fact that a 16 yr old who owned the car and hit a curb on a turn goin 50 or sumpin like that
