My gas tank guage seems to fluctuate up and down at times, the most a 1 - 1.5 centimeter at a time. Any idea what might cause this, or how can i get it fixed, without having to buy a new guage. Its not a big problem cause i can still give a almost exact estimate on how much gas is in at a time, but if i can fix it, might as well. thanx :)

don't really bother fixing it. I'm sure you know how many miles you get to the tank, so just watch your ODO and make sure to fill up before then. My gauge fluctuated a lot in my old civic too. I learned to just fill up every 250 miles, the trip meter comes in handy here. To me, it's just not worth shelling out cash to fix

Yea. my civic does it too. I believe that its just the positioning of the pump and the device that regiters how much gas you have. As you accelerate, decelerate, turn, whatever, your gas is moving around in your tank, so the reading changes a bit.
