I thought that would get your attention.I live in Indianapolis In.I saw something I could not believe.A 97 Cavalier with an LT1,bright yellow,5spd,very quick!!! I did not see him race ,but he smoked the piss out of about 1/8th of an inch off the tread of his tires real quick.I've heard that for a setup like that. You have to put the engine in sideways, because it's rearwheel drive.I talked to the guy.But not for very long. What do you think??? I don't know that much about cars. But this s#$% was extreme!!!

for a RWD car you put the engine in normaly not sideways. I have a friend that put a stage 2 4.2 litre in a tubbed and narrowed RWD geo metro. It's fast as hell, 9.5's in the qtr and he is running so conservitive is not even funny. The geo is cool and all but there is one problem.... It's still a METRO. It's a neat idea but, IMO I would of picked a different car.
There is a guy in a mag I was reading about that put a 5.0 in a ford focus. I guess I just don't see the point.

I know of a guy who put a 350 in a shov-it. After all of the work to put it in, he forgot to weld in some floor bracing. Then he wondered why he couldn't open one of the doors, and why there were wrinkles in the roof!! :)
