Complete and total newbie, please help!!!!

Hi All,

I am completely new to car modelling. I basically got the JUN Prelude yesterday, cos I have the same car.

But now I realise I don't know how to build it. What kind of supplies do I need? Please forgive me for asking here, but I the FAQ link on supplies does'nt seem to work. I would definitely appreciate all help I can get like the materials required, equipment required and the process of building the kit from scratch.

Welcome Ffk7 and as for building you will want to visit your local hobby shop and pick up some model glue and for painting the body (if you are spray painting) primer and the color of your choice.You may want to consider buying an airbrush for painting interior and such. I strongly suggest you visit the FAQ.

some basics you will definately need besides paint and glue are as follows:
hobby knife
tweezers
various small paintbrushes
toothpiks
tape
sandpaper
files

If you have anymore ?'s just search for "tools" or "supplies" you should turn up something useful.

thanks for all the quick responses. I tried the above link b4, but the pdf file is not available. If someone has a copy please provide me with a link so I can get it.

from the responses, i am pretty confident that i will be able to build this and many more kits in the future wilth all your help.
