Hello
I have a chevy tahoe 2002 4wd 5.3L 4dr, the car has 98000KM on the dial, recently have ben noticing some vibration from the steering wheels especially on rough roads, as if the steering column is not tightly fitted, my guess is it's the steering damper or possibly the steering column seals if any.
Any ideas on how to rectify this problem for the DIYers.
Thanks

check the intermediate shaft. another problem area on yout vehicle is the inner tierods. i've changed a couple intermetiate shafts to fix this problem. acutally get the whole front end checked out since you have 98k i'm almost certain you'll have a couple bad balljoints if they havn't been replaced yet balljoints are the weakpoint on chevy's
