I have been looking for information regarding the swap that was just done on my 92 Civic CX 1.5 8 valve. The engine that is getting installed right now is a JDM ZC 1.6 16 valve non-vtec, I can't seem to find much info on it, every thing I find is about DOHC.

I am also wondering if the price I am paying is resonable for that engine.

(used) JDM ZC 1.6 SOHC
(used) JDM Manual Transmission
New clutch
All labor

Total Price= $1,500.00 (including tax)

I think it sound's like a good deal but I am not sure, the guy at the shop told me that it will be a improvement from the engine that is currently in it, which I think only has 70 hp.

Thanks for any info anyone can provide!

I don't know about cost of getting it swapped in from a shop so I can't help ya there; but $1500 sounds ok i guess.
