remote keyless entry

I have a new keyless entry transmitter for a 1996 blazer and need to know how to program it...please reply.

In order to program your remote transmitter, you must be close to the vehicle and you hold both lock and unlock buttons in together for about 10 seconds . That is how I resynchronized my new remote keyless transmitter on my 2000 Chevy S-10 Blazer . Hope it works out for you .
