Front defroster problem

The system can't divert the flow of air to the windshield anymore. I can hear things moving when I change the flow direction knob, and everything else works. When it is on the shared floor/defroster setting I can get a little bit of air flow to the windshield. What's up? Larry

Larry, check up and to the right of your accelerator pedal, there is an electric motor that actuates/diverts the air flow of your heater-defroster

This can become disconnected.
