Started this a little over a week ago. Everything so far has been hand painted. I'm not quite sure what color the body will be. I'm leaning towards either a dark metallic green or a dark gray. Anyhow, enjoy the pictures for now. I'll post more as I finish with the project.

I'm sure you'll make the good choice: I like each choice you've made on this one (rims, interior color...)!
All this promises a very nice result!

or how about a metallic silver?

I don't know. I never really liked silver for a cars color. But I do think that a dark gray, somewhere close to black, but not quite that dark. I think that would look really good with the leather interior. What do you think?

Dark metallic green would be nice! BTW: Is that thing in center console Engine Management Controller (AFC) ??

Looks very nice, what kind of paint did you use for the tan interior. Keep up the good work. I think It would look very clean black, maby with a CF hood.

For the tan color, I used Tamiya's Desert Yellow XF-59. For the brown, I just used some of my Testors Brown (1140).

yeah, its all brushed. I have about $30 invested in my brushes. I only use the best. I don't use any of the Testors paintbrushes.

Another thing is best if you can spray a flat coat over the seats, the brown is too glossy. Your handpainting is very good!

Thanks for the compliments! I need to get some carbon fiber for the back of the seats, because right now they're unpainted in the back. I'll try that flat coat on the seats. Thanks for the tip. The body won't be painted for probably another week or two because the weather here is still down in the 40's and I have to paint it out in the garage. I'm still trying to figure out which color to paint it. I do think the dark metallic green would look good. So, that might be what color I end up painting it. I also started my Tamiya 300zx about two days ago. Still working on the engine. I'll post some pictures in a new thread later this weekend. Thanks again for the compliments!

**UPDATE**
Got my SAS bodykit the other day. Been working on it trying to get it to fit right. Finally got it right, but it still needs a lot of sanding. Tell me what you think!

Looks nice. The front clip is pointing upwards a bit though it seems.
Tip: Before painting the body make sure the clear headlight covers will fit nicely. I messed up my paint a little trying to get the CLEAR parts installed on my Tiger S2000. I had to do some touch up and repairs because I didn't test fit them first.
