I got a question for the pros. I got a 1998 Eclipse GSX and I want to get a B.O.V, so which one is the best after-market B.O.V today? and when i get it how do i install it on?

To me, there is no 'best' BOV. If it works for your needs, it's fine.
short answer: Tial and SARD are 'best'. They work and won't break. They don't recirculate back into the intake. http://www.dsmtuners.com/parts/default.php?cPath=3_146_64
Pick one. Stay away from type-s and RFL. good luck, im trying not to pick one out for you, i dont know the difference between most of them.

I'd say Tial is the best. SARD is a badass valve, but you cant get the one i have anymore. they stopped importing them years ago. People were buying spares at the time, lol. But like the SARD, the Tial cant be recirculated. Like Joe said, there is no best BOV, and how to mount it depends on which one you get. Just do some geneal research, and when you have more specific questions we'll be glad to help.

you guy's always rag on the type-s... i think it is a great BOV as far BOV's that recirculate. and unless you are running MAF you don't want or need to get one that does not recirculate [don't Get me wrong, those mentioned above are hands down the best BOV's].

Well I was going to get a type-s before, but I don't know anymore. It might work good for a while, but i'm not sure that it will seal after a few years at 25psi

I dont care much for the type S, butpart of that could be that I'm required to run a stronger valve anyway. Its a great option for poeple that sitll need to dump back in, since the outlet is similar to stock. But IMO for the money, you'd be better of with a crushed 1g for 40 bucks, and put the other 200 or whatver to better use. But you cnat go wrong with either the 1g or type s for "regular" setups. I have heard of reliabilty issues with the type s, but other say they last just fine. ITs a tough choice, I know it all too well. I just gave up and went sard to avoid having to decide, or waste my time with another less than suitable BOV.
