I am finely able to get around to buying a new t-belt tensioner for my 1993 rodeo 3.2L and im going to buy the kit which includes the T-Belt,T-Belt tensioner and the T-Belt idler it also comes with the late design tensioner bearing and does not include the tensioner push rod assembly. My question is i do not have the money right now to buy the tensioner push rod assembly (just enough for the other parts i mentioned).Do i need to replace the assembly to or would it be ok to skip that part until the next time i replace the belt and tensioner? Will it cause any trouble if i dont replace it?I hope i made my self understandable. Thanks alot guys for all the help you have gave me it is much appreciated.
Thanks again Les

I just did mine and the big things that need to be replaced seem to be covered with your kit. Be sure to check your front engine main seal and the timing belt gears. If they are heading south, you will need to replace them as well.

If the tensioner goes bad, you will get a loud rattling or clicking noise in the front of the engine. Mine was making all kinds of racket.
