about 99% of you guys would be owing him some money. he just got this running and hasnt done any tuning.

Nice car, I'm amazed that he is only predicting a 10.5. My uncle in law has an 87 Buick that is running 770whp and ran a 9.7 at the track, completely street legal too. I'm trying to recall what he has in it... I know he has a 700 shot of nitrous but is ony running it at 350, I'll find out though. He keeps blowing his engine though :grinno:

You know, I used to be just like you "Stangs suck, death to them all" Then I sat and thought about what I was saying, and why I was saying it. It's stupid, just plain stupid. There are mustangs that are quite quick without turbos and such. There is nothing wrong with Mustangs, you just have an opinion that you wish was a fact, but can't prove it to be, and never will be able to prove it as such.

i know my car isn't fast. it's an economy car, and for one it has a nice ride, it's smooth, and relativly sport feeling- especially at 40mpg. but i know what's fast, and what isn't- and a late-model stock v6 mustang is heavy, boaty, and NOT FAST for a sports car- especially considering a liniage that includes such cars as the Shelby 'Stang, and the older 5.0s. Ford brought out some massive, awsomely powerful mustangs over the years- the v6... is not one of them.

I am 19 live with my fiance and I bought the mustang so she can drive it after she was in a wreck. i could have gotten a GT or cobra instead of buying me a 2000 silverado AND a mustang and working on my 47 chevy or my 23 t bucket or my 72 harley or buying me a 2002 banshee and modding it and buying her a bear tracker to ride for fun. what i am saying is i work my ASS off for everything i have and nothing was handed to me. when people want to talk shit about what i have it pisses me off especially when they arent any better off then i am. but then again i feel better because it just seems like they are jealous :nutkick:

yes i know there are some supercharged 3.8s that could hand me my ass, but as a whole, V6 stangs are DOGS. i dont need you policing my "trash talking". Put me up against any stock V6 stang, and i guarantee the outcome will be the same. i know that isnt a major accomplishment, but im sick of everyone trying to tell me how fast V6s are. Hell, ive walked many 5.0s too. granted a few minor mods open up the 5.0 motor a lot and ive lost to more than i have beat.

intake, exhaust and a shortshifter was all i had on the Si. used to walk 94-95 5.0s all the time. even beat a few foxbodys. in fact, one time, these two dudes tried to chase me and fight me, just because i beat them :screwy:
