I also have a 2000 astro. First make shure you have the correct keyless fobs. My astro uses GM # 15732805
1. While holding the power door lock switch in the unlock position cycle your ignition switch 3 times- on, off, on, off, on ,off. Then release the door lock switch.
2. You will hear the door locks cycle, this will confirm you are in the programming mode.
3. Hold down the lock and unlock buttons at the same time on the fob.
4. When it is programemd you will hear the door locks cycle confirming the remote is programmed.
5. Do this for every remote you have up to a maximum of 4 remotes.
6. When you are done programming all your remotes cycle you ignition switch, on, off, this will allow you to exit programming mode.
7. Verify that all your remotes work properly.
Let me know if this works for you. :smokin:
