V6 Exhaust

What would be the best exaust to put on my V6. And don't tell me to ditch the V6 and get a V8. I get enough of that.

i have gotten 4mpg out of my flowmaster on my 98. the sound is good, a little quieter then anormal for a flow but it opens up once you get up there areound 2200rpm. on the highway their is no interior resonance. i am satisfied with the sound and performance.
what have you done to your car?

I have a 1985 Convertible Lx I bought it for $450. It needed a new alternator and some body work. I got the new nose cover and put a hood scoop on it and bought a new top and got a paint job. I did all the body work myself and it came out great. The whole car is stock and I just want to put a nice exhaust on it. I know it won't sound like a v8 but I just want something that when I rev it up it sounds pretty good.

The engine is in awesome condition and only has 92,000 on it. It is very dependable.

First of all...all v6 exhaust questions should be posted on the same page...next, get a mock dual exhaust the sound and performance are good. If you do a true dual exhaust you lose low end power with the v6 engine. I just had my exhaust done, mock dual, and I love the sound and the way it feels when I open her up

I Got the exhaust done and it's awesome. I cut the pipes after the manifolds and ran straight pipes back to glasspacks.....no cats......it's the loudest exhaust and it sounds very good. I get alot of compiments on it. My friend thought I swapped a V8 in my car when he first heard it. sounds really snappy when I open it up.

I actually didn't think that they would sound good either......they were my dads idea. We fabricated the whole exhaust. We unbolted the stock exhaust and bent our own pipes all the way back.....no cats.....just straight 2 inch pipe to glasspacks......ill get a clip so u guys can hear.....
