1991 Buick injectors not firing

After driving my "new" car for 2 weeks the problem began. The car was running fine, no misses or stalls. One day I drove it for 1 hour, went into a store and it wouldn't start. Let it sit for 5 minutes and it started right up and drove fine. Came out the next day and started and ran for about 5 minutes and stalled and wouldn't restart. Fuel pressure is 40 psi and rises to 50 when fuel pressure regulator is disconnected. Spark is good, and wiring is fine. Checked injectors with noid tester and they failed. I have 12 volts on each side of the wires to injectors, but injectors fail to fire. Checked computer and no codes come back except that the computer is working. Checked fuses and they are all fine. I even pulled the coil pack and cleaned all of the contact points in case of a bad ground.

Now what do I do. :banghead:

did the car sit for a long time before you got it?
i would say check the fuel filter could be clogged.
or maybe the injectors are clogged.
that is what i would take a look at

No. The car only sat for about 2 months. The fuel filter and lines are clean. I ran a test of the fuel volume and it came back fine. I need to know if all of the injectors need to be disconnected when I run the noid test on the injectors. When the car tries to start, the injectors aren't firing. The last time it ran, all of the injectors were firing. The engine just shut down and none of the injectors will fire. The car has a good spark.

You know, there is a buick forum.... Anyway, are you getting a pulse from the computer to tell the injectors to fire?

HOW DO I TEST FOR THE PULSE FROM THE COMPUTER?
I USED A NOID TESTER ON ONE CYLINDER ONLY WITH THE OTHER INJECTORS STILL CONNECTED TO THE WIRING AND IT DIDN'T FLASH. COULD ONE OF THE OTHER INJECTORS SHORT OUT CAUSING NO FLASH?

ALSO, I DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO POST THIS ON THE BUICK FORUM.

You post it the same way you posted it in this forum.

LAST WEEK I DISCONNECTED ALL OF THE INJECTORS THEN TRIED THE NOID TESTER. THE NOID TESTER BEGAN FLASHING. I USED AN OHM METER AND CHECKED ALL OF THE INJECTORS. I FOUND ONE INJECTOR SHORTED. WHEN I DISCONNECTED THAT INJECTOR, THE CAR STARTED RIGHT UP. WHEN I RECONNECTED THIS INJECTOR THE CAR STALLED. AFTER REPLACING THIS INJECTOR, THE CAR RUNS FINE. I HOPE THIS INFORMATION WILL HELP SOMEONE ELSE WHEN THEIR CAR JUST STOPS RUNNING.

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT IS THE CORRECT OHM READING FOR THE INJECTORS ON THE 3.3 BUICK ENGINE? I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF I'M GOING TO HAVE ANY MORE TROUBLE WITH THE REMAINING INJECTORS. THIS PROBLEM BEGAN AFTER ADDING FUEL INJECTOR CLEANER. I'LL NEVER DO THAT AGAIN.
