Hello to Everyone reading this thread. I am new to the Galant center and don’t know my way around this site to well. I’ve been told this is the site to go if you have questions about the Galant, a car quite hard to find stuff for. So have several questions that need answering ( or advice) if possible.
I drive a 94 Galant ES. IT WAS my daily driver, but there are things that are wrong with the car that need attention for the moment. It is going to become my personal builder car ( and wife’s driver.)
1) Where are there good places to find parts for my car( online)?
2) I eventually might consider a 4G64T engine and tranny swap. I hear this is possible, but what is the difficulty of it( if known)? Can I just bolt it and the necessary ECU and stuff in, or am I going to need a pro shop to do it, and if that’s the case, does anyone know a ballpark figure of how much that could run me?
3) Does anyone know where to find the body kits cheaper (I couldn’t find the Shogun or the new cyber one to cheap.)
4) I saw a picture of a Japanese/Australian Galant HJ and wonder if there’s a way to change my front end to match that? Is there a site that sells the JDM front end pieces and will they bolt up to my American version?
5) Since this is going to be a personal builder, I want to be doing most of everything myself. That being said, I want to fiberglass a lot of the interior, but honestly don’t really know my way around that process. Does anyone know of a site that gives a supply list and step by step ( with pictures.) instructions?
Thank you in advance for any help or answers or advice to any of these questions

2)The 4G63T swap is easy depending where u get ur engine its going to run about $4000 to drop the engine + 5 speed tranny. The only hard part would be rewiring for all the sensors. if you vistit Galantforums or the galant center there a few post explaning the easiest way to go (i believe using the 1g wiring harness n keepin ur old ecu)
3) cheap body kit? Join the Galant forums they got a group buy going on its $375 for the kit and $150 for shipping (flat rate)
1) a good site for galants thats a hard one. I know rpw has many parts but they dont have the best service or customer relations. So people tend not to buy anything from them thats the only good Galant parts site. But for info and tips join clubtgc.us or galantforums.com
