New Exterior Door handle

Well just recently my ex-gf broke off my door handle to my 96 eclipse. I have searched high and low on google and other places for a replacement door handle. I found a guide on how to replace it yourself, which seems like it might take a couple hours and patience. In the guide, the person that wrote it talked about having to buy the part from "satan" for 60$. I was wondering if anyone knew where to get one besides an authorized dealer?

Well I'm thinking about removing my external door handles, but it won't be for another month though...

Planning on shaving off the door handles to make room for that sexy clean look. ;)

eclipses are known for there door handles breaking, mine broke about a month ago when it was bitter cold outside. I replaced it with one from mitsubishi just ot be safe, i didnt want to take the chance of getting one and it not fitting right. THere pretty easy to change, i did it in about an hour, once you take your door panel off any you see the origional assembley it will be smooth sailing from there, good luck man.

Yea I guess mine broke with the previous owner so now i have two keys one for everything except the passenger door, and one for the passenger door. :screwy: I guess the key part broke with the handle

can anyone tell me how to change the door handle part? mint, do you still have that guide?
