I'd just like to point out, having driven both, that power oversteer is NOT drift. Drift is what happens before that and is shared by both FWD and RWD cars. Drift is the ART of making a car go sideways using only the brake and the steering wheel. Anyone can slide a car with the e-brake or the accelerator (if in an RWD). The real skill lies in making the car ENTER the corner sideways. In this respect FWD and RWD cars are the same and share the same techniques.

I do beleive the VW Mk5 Polo WRC car is fwd, as is the Skoda WRC car. Do you know what a Skoda is? (don't laugh if you do)
Bunta your paint skillz are outta this world. Hey wait, that was my car!!

Braking and steering is just one of many techniques my friend, power-over is just another on the list that is needed to become the dorifto king. E-brake is as well, although it is more a way to adjust one's car during a drift than to innitiate the drift.

The CAN-Am scene needs to come back with a vengence.
Wheels spinning at 200mph! 1200whp quad turbo Porsche engines!
Watch Dan Gurney and his era of REAL racers drift those badasses around Laguna Seca.
They're compleate nutters.

FFDriftweapon "Does anybody else practice ff drift WITHOUT e-brake? I have been practising since I got my licence (even before :) just a little...) and I can now braking drift, scandinavian flick and 2 corner inertia drift (braking drift followed by weight transfer to drift the other way) and high speed lift off oversteer better than all my friends with rwd cars. While i'm sliding at the corner entry anybody I see in rwd cars starts to porwerslide after the apex. BORING!!! Is there anybody else who uses these techniques or likes drifting without the e-brake?"
I do, well use to, before I got my Toyo Proxies TPTs, it was cool... knicked my frontend on a median sign once, being lazy tired and forgetful I hit the brake after I just leveled out... :disappoin oops... it threw it back in the other direction towards the sign, just scratched my front bumper and stoped, I did it once before to chain drifts.... it was fun for a time, but now I've started to perfect my grip technique afterall that's what FF is best at.
