Haha Another Fun Sunday....

Until my civic gets here eventhough I won't have a licence until September I drive my moms corolla and today was a really fun day because I drove out by the race tracks and there were a few races going on but nothing too good because the season hasnt started yet.

When the ambulance left the tracks everyone knew that it was time to go so we went to this strip that was about 10 minutes away from the tracks...this was my first time at "the pools" so I was kinda excited (but didnt wanna tell anyone). A couple races passed and I wanted to get into the mix so this guy in a 1990 civic with i/e raced me we started out even then he started to pull from me and a car came in my way and it wasnt moving so I had to brake and pull behind him. :banghead:

My second race was against my boys mirage, listening to him talk about his car you would think that it was invincible I was racing my moms corolla just for laughs so when he asked me to run I was down for whatever, when we got up to the starting line he went around the corner for a second...I think he went to drop off his speakerbox but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. When he comes back I launch at what feels good(moms car has no tach) and we pull off together, I hear him shift to second and he starts to pull away from me so I go from low to second when it feels good, I catch him up and hold about a car length until the finish line. :rofl:

When I got out of the car I had the system playing and everyone was quiet looking at me, then the congrats started. I was happy and people were happy for me...people started to diss him and stuff so he started to tell us that he lost because he had a speakerbox and a two ton jack in his trunk but I know he felt really bad because his stick mirage with i/e got beat by a stock CARBED corolla. :iceslolan

About five minutes after our race I see people start to scatter so I run to my car when im opening the door I hear someone say "dats da man"(da man = Bahamian slang for police) so my heart drops because I hae no licence, I start the car and pull off driving away from the strip I look around and see that all around me looks like a scene from a movie...this was a VERY fun night for me, dont know if you guys really care but hey...I like typing...

Hahahah...not so fast and a the furious night? Ive been twice or three times to those illegal gatherings, it feels so nice being a little afraid that the police is going to come and bust you, more adrenaline. Theres a street that barely any car passes there but its only a two lane. No houses around it, theres a railroad track on one side, and a big wall on the other. I went to that illegal shit and i raced against a 2001 golf wiith 18 inches and exhaust chip and headers, I was on the lane were a car can come at you and nothing happened because by first gear I had more than a car on him i just went on his lane and pullled 7-9 cars more till the end of third.

LoL yea its definitely fun...after tonight I know Im going back to that spot when the civic gets here...I should be pulling your times mex...maybe even better :D

so you went to the races without a lisence and your moms car....?

was thinkin the same thing he must be :smokin: or jus dumb cuz if u got caught racing without a liscence u wont get ur liscence for a long ass time to even drive your civic. i understand u want to have fun but please dont get caught or do anythign stupid cuz then ur car would be sold and that would suck

"Street Racers" or whatever you want to call us over here in nassau dont get treated as badly as you guys in the states. IF the popes had came up on us I probably wouldnt have gotten stopped because I was in a corolla with no tints and quiet music(at the time) and they probably wouldnt have expected me to have been racing. The guys with the fast looking cars would have definitely been the first targets.(I think)
I dont normally drive that far away from home but my ride to the tracks left me and this was the first sunay since last year that people were out so I had to be there probably wont ever do that again...to close to licence time.

yea my freind got caught racing and he wasnt evn over speed limit. 300$ ticket . where exactly is nassau or watevr? later

Nassau Bahamas, the people are cool here (most cops too) if the cops had come it probably would have been for people who had expired licences and/or tags and people with tints that are too dark and stuff like that not really for speeding because when the whole scatter thing happened no one was racing we were just standing up talking.
