Ok, I feel really stupid. I have an 89 325i and just woke up to a flat tire. I jacked it up, pulled the four lug nuts and the dang thing won't come off. It looks like the wheel might be rusted on or something, or am I missing something? HELP!!!!!

Yeah, sometimes those wheels stick so well you'd think you could drive without putting the lug bolts back in. I think you just have to kick it and pull on it as hard as you can until it comes off. But no, there is no hidden release lever or ejection button, so you don't have to feel stupid. :iceslolan

Lizard:

Place a piece of wood across the inside of the wheel, while the car is jacked up, and give it several good thumps with a heavy hammer, rotating the wheel as you thump.

Now there's some good advice. Listen to him, not me. :loser:

very common thing with any kind of car, especially older. you simply gotta punch/kick/hit one side of the tire to "break" the wheel off the hub.

After you get the wheel off, try some anti-seize on the hub and the lugs. A very small ammount will do ya! I never have any problems getting wheels or bolts off.
