K&N Filter

Hey Guys.. Quick question for ya

Pondering gettin a K&N filter but Ive read a few posts about people Fryin' they're AFM when they clean the filters..What do you guys think??

Is it a common problem? Or just a couple guys who dont know how to clean they're filters?? Putting to much oil on? or maybe even tryin to wash it while its still in the car!@#!

Just isolated problems, almost everyone has one of those filters and you only hear a few bad stories. K&N's a good filter, easy to clean and does a really good job of filtering most everything without being a big restriction.

Yeha ive got 2 of em' in my 91' Z28.. They make a huge difference on that big motor.. especially when its really hot out when regular paper filters swell up and restrict airflow I can notice the throttle is more responsive

Im assuming that some people just get a little too crazy with the oil... I'll try one out!
