Aerocharger????

I am wondering about the aerocharger. If no one ever heard of it, as I have here's the website: www.aerocharger.com that'll take you to the website and from there just look for info about the engine. It sounds like a fake or scam to me. I never heard any of the experts mention this type of forced induction.
I have another question, I own a rsx type-s 2004, I am wondering what would be a good turbo to use on the engine. I am observing other parts that I am convinced (exhaust, suspension, and other performance).

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
IMO I would go for a JRsc. If you have alot of money and want to go really fast, then go with turbo. For some reason, I always was fond of superchargers.

There is nothing new about the VATN, they came as OEM equipment on certain Chryslers in the 80's (under the acronym of VNT). http://www.xmission.com/~dempsey/shelby/sheldod9.htm
The VATN is far superior to a standard turbocharger because it takes the waste out of "wastegate". Actually it takes out the wastegate entirely, and instead controls turbine speed, and boost, by pivoting the vanes. The result is a lower boost threshold and less lag. All things equal, a VATN will create boost far faster than a standard wastegated turbocharger. Most, if not all, aftermarket VATN's have a self contained oil supply, which is a definate plus as it removes the hassle of tapping the oil supply, and running oil feed and drain lines. This is even more so in situations where the turbocharger is placed below the level of the oil pan, making gravity drain impossible (who wants to install a intermediate oil pan and a sump?).
As for the quality of this particular VATN, I have no idea. I know that Corky Bell turbocharged a Miata using a VATN called the Aerocharger, but I have no idea whether or not these are the same turbochargers.

That link will take you right to the article. I have a Garrett VNT25 on my LeBaron GTC. Personally I think it's just too small and you can make a normal turbo-charger just as efficient as a VNT. I would say stick with the normal turbo-chargers, but mostly it is just a matter of preference.
