when i swap engines, do the websites have auto. trannys that come with the motors or will i have to get a manual conversion? also how does exhaust sound with an auto.? and do turbos feel the same when they kick in? thanks for the help.

Yeah turbos will feel the same, perhaphs they will spool a little later. But what will be a negative effect is that on automatic you only have 4 gears. So when youve reached fourth, 85 mph or so, acceleration will decrease pretty drastically. Exaust sound is the same.

Yeah, like said above, exhaust should sound the same. But remember, what sounds on one may not always sound the same on another. That's more true with intakes though.
As for the tranny question, I beleive there is an automatic version of a B16 that's in some Canadian model SiR Civics. They had that option for some reason. You may want to look into that. Also B18's came as an auto option as well, so if you really want to keep auto, then that may be your best route to go. You Civic auto tranny WILL not work with either of these motors though from what I know.
