Well, if your sig is correct, you are running a stock car correct? I would say maybe save it. :bloated: I mean, there isnt much you could get. You would want to stay away from a engine mod now, since it will be a waste in the long run. Maybe go for a short shifter, or start on your suspension by getting some springs?

I say go with an interior mod. maybe get some new speakers, or some other audio equipment. I would use it for insurance personally.

I have a question for kbslacker. If he puts the new springs on there, wont that kill his struts? Cause I wanted to do that to my car, but my friend told me that the stock struts wouldn't handle it.

Eventually the stock shocks will blowout since the lowering springs have a higher spring rate than the stock springs. Coilovers are even worse on the stock shocks.

Cause after I drop in the new engine, I will probably lower the car. And I was thinking of using either tokico or koni struts with ground control. I wanted to use Apexi but they don't make true coil overs for my car.

That wouldn't be too low for a bodykit. So i think you should go get them springs!:)

Springs are usually more stiffer. Coils dont stay in place when you hit a bump. Springs are compressed and dont move but you need good shocks for either.I like springs better cause like i said, they're not as bouncy;) As for me..i got neuspeed 2 inch drop and with koni yellows:) I have no complaints about those! So which ever u like to go with its all good.

im looking at the eibach pro-kit any opinions about it? actually the sportline offers a lower drop which is nice and well i want to get 16" rims would these work well? its hard b/c i want the wings west rs body kit, no one has a crx around here so its not played out, and rims but which would be better they are both nice

I still say get a strut bar and shortshifter...lol

Seriously, why get springs/sleeves, use your stock shocks, and have to re-install them later anyways. DO it right the first time, don't get springs until you have $$$ for performance shocks (like Tokico HBs if adjustability is not a problem). I seriously wouldn't recommend lowering it on stock shocks unless you like a blown suspension. Either save your $$$ for now... or get the springs or shocks, and dont install them. Or get 2 mods that are well worth the $$$ and ypou will definitely notice a difference from.....

yea i am still thinking b/c i definatly dont wanna be bumping around with a blwon suspension

any specific company i should look for a strut bar from or is it generally the same?

I hear all different things .... some people swear they are almost all the same, others say they are not.

For certain, I would NOT get a DC sports one... over-costed, and shitty quality. The DC strut bar is more for show than for performance (the thing BENDS :()

I'd recommend a Neuspeed one..... when it comes to suspension, Neuspeed make some good ass shit.....

A strut bar is definitely worth it, but i'd get a nice Momo steering wheel or springs first...but then i'm a looks kind of guy!:D
