Question about damage to my 4wd?

Had an accident in 2001 and I damaged the front left side wheel while I was in 4wd hi at 45mph. The control arm was bent, the rotor and brake caliper cracked. I replaced those parts and the car runs fine. However, after I come out of the 4wd position, I hear a rubbing sound coming from the front wheels, possibly the left side. It goes away after I go past 50 miles an hour. The 4wd still works because I've used it in the snow. What could this be?
