Well then you not really ready to beat a V-8 Mustang with a V-6. There is no such thing as a cheap way to make more HP. If you believe that I have some magic beans to sell you too.

If you want to beat a v8 with only basic bolt ons, then you had better get an incredible launch suspension and some really sticky tires.

It can be done. But then again, whenever someone asks, "is that possible?"... you'll always hear "Anything is possible." IT jsut depends on your limitations.

Best way to beat a v8 without all the technical stuff, get a v8 owner really REALLY drunk and race him. Wait. Bad idea.

Just bite the bullet, and get a V8. Solves all your problems.

nitrous kit, exhaust. I'm assuming your car is a stick shift?

find a wrecked early to mid 90s thunderbird with the turboed 3.8 and do some swapping.

i would just like the joy of saying this little v6 beat a v8 ya know tunning is'nt about how fast or who has the bigger engine .it's about if you can get your car's engine tunning to the best performance possable ....anyone can just go buy a v8 ya know

the 90's T-bird had a 3.8 supercharged engine.

Look just go for the basic mods...intake, exhaust...things like that. If you are still not happy with its performance step it up a notch, bite the bullet and do some real modifications. Simple as that.

i take it you know some stock v8's to race? even if u add a lot hp, if u go up aginast a v8 with mods, then ur in trouble.
