today is a great day, i was driving home from a friends house and its kinda out in the country so i get on west lane (its about a ten to fifteen minute drive on west from her house to mine) it is a 3 lane road and for about 5 minutes there was alotta traffic but it cleared out. so on to the race, i saw this kid that i go to school with(he and his girl were driving to a party i guess, he drives a stock sunfire) i was driving my brothers 85 bmw 325e(it has intake, new cams, lsd, and one or two more things done to it i dont remember what they are) so me and the other guy come to a stop light and the and i rolled down the window and said hey lets go for one real quick and he was down for whatever, cuz you know his car is the shiet :screwy: i was pretty sure that i would win unless i fucked up shifting but i didnt and i just completely embarssed the guy, i just walked and walked through ever gear and i shut down at like 70 or 80, he was soooo mad, cuz well u know his car is super fast... but yeah that was my first kill even tho it was a kinda gay race it was still funny, now when i get into a real race and beat someone then ill be proud of myself

Sounds like it needs some shifter bushings. And it's cam, not cams. Great cars 325e. Not as peppy as the i, but perfect for a daily driver. Change the rear end gear to that of the 325i and it'll be quite a bit quicker. They don't rev like the i, so you can't convince me that exhaust mods will do anything for the 325e. Intake might be okay though. BMW tunes their cars well, so they need certain things to run well. If your brother is running aftermarket spark plug wires, I would jut go with Bosch 7mm wires. Thinking that bigger, silicone wires will help performance is always a mistake with BMW's. You want the solid copper core and the resistance of the OEM Bosch wires. I think that tuning 325e's is kind of a tricky thing. My friend's 325e responded very well to the Turner motorsports chip. My sister has one, black with 325is seats and wheels. It's a fun car.

Nice job man :bigthumb: I might be getting a late 80s 325i. I just love the look of E30s.
