side mouldings

Whats the best way to take off the side mouldings on our cars without damaging the body? Do they just pop off like the emblems?

doors-take door panel off and rool window up, you will see the clips behind the mouldings
fenders-take off the plastic fender guard off and you will see the clips to those
rear quarters-i have no idea :P

another question then, how do you take off the door panels? Are there any hidden screws or anything?
