Rumors about quality

I want to dispell the rumor that high price means high quality and that low price means low quality. I own a Virtual Reality3 12 inch subwoofer that I got from walmart for $40 the box says it only handles 700 watts max but I have a Crunch black maxx amp that puts out 500 watts RMS and 1000 watts max and its gain and bass boost are all the way up and it sounds great. But I wanted more so I bought myself a JL audio 12W3V2 sub and spent $200 on it. I sent it back 3 days later and bought another Virtual Reality3 sub. My 500 watt RMS amp pushed that W3 to its brink the sub was only rated @ 300 watts RMS It started to distort once I got it up 3/4 of the way but The $40 one from walmart stayed true till the full 500 watts

you're clipping the amp. Don't turn the gain all the way up, even if you like distorted bass.
You have 3 subs, vs 1. 3 subs will be able to handle more power than a single sub, even if it's an almighty JL Aduio. Now three of those subs up against the W7 is another story.
If it satisfy you, then thats all it matters :)

I've heard those wallmart subs... They sound really crappy.
