Mileage?...

I was thinking about buying a 1998 Maxima. I don't kno the submodel. The dealer wants $6500 for it, it has 85K on it. It's a black 5spd and i was wondering what kind of mileage this car would get. any feedback greatly appreciated. thnx

i had a 95 that i sold at 167,000 that was still running strong. i'll bet it's still running today. i bought it at 98,000 miles and kept it for 2 1/2 years. i liked it so much that when the time came for a new car, i bought another maxima.

My 98 has 146,000 miles on it right now and it still runs strongly. I think that's a pretty good deal for that maxima.

it can't be a gle cuz they only come in auto. if it doesn't have foglights and has chrome door handles it's most likely a GXE(base model), otherwise it's a SE. sounds like a pretty fair deal for the price you listed.
