Cell phone guns

If you get asked to test your cell phone at the airport, this is the reason. Because cell phone guns have been discovered. The attached video clip shows how cell phone guns operate. These phones are not in the U.S. yet, but they are in use overseas. Beneath the digital phone face is a 22-caliber handgun capable of firing four rounds in rapid succession using the standard telephone keypad. European law enforcement officials are stunned by the discovery of these deadly decoys. They say phone guns are changing the rules of engagement in Europe. "We find it very alarming," says Wolfgang Dicke of the German Police Union. "It means police will have to draw their weapons whenever a person being checked reaches for their cell hone." Although cell phone guns are not know to have reached the U.S. yet, the FBI, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and the U.S. Customs Service say they have been briefed on the new weapons. All U.S. ports of entry have been alerted. These covert weapons were first discovered in October of 2000 when Dutch police came upon a cache during a drug raid in Amsterdam . In another recent incident, a Croatian gun dealer was caught attempting to smuggle a shipment through Slovenia into Western Europe. Police say both shipments are believed to have originated in Yugoslavia ... Interpol sent a warning to law enforcement agencies around the world. "If you didn't know they were guns, you would think they were cell phones," said Ari Zandbergen, a spokesperson for the Amsterdam police. "Only when you have one in your hand do you realize that they are heavier than a regular cell phone." Be patient if security asks to look at your cell phone or turn it on to show that it works. They have a good reason!

I remember back in the days before cell phones were everywhere, pagers were the thing, and I saw on the news that there was a company that made a gun that looked like a pager.

Yeah, I can't even begin to imagine what the US would be like if the citizens could carry concealed weapons.

It's not quite as easy as you think in a big part of the U.S., man.

My point remains that any citizen that has an interest for whatever reason to carry a concealed firearm already can.

aside from the threat they pose to the public, those things are pretty cool. it's like a one-pop(pen-gun) but it's a 4 pop and appears to be reusable

and i agree with OZ if for some reason i wanted to, i could get my hands on a shaved .38 revolver or a 9mm whenever i want, not that i would.

carrying a conceled weapon is actualy quite easy. plus airport security realy sucks even after 9/11 . i acidnetly had razor blades in my pockets (from modeling ) and i made it through logan airport with them. they found them when i got searched in los angles for being the first person in line for my flight.

plus the number of times ive carried a knife in my boot in public , or how one of my friends can get lent a gun (yeah he knows sketchy people), or plastic stab weapons, its prety scared what u can get but i wouldnt want to walk through downtown hartford with out some kind of weapon so sometimes its saftey. anyways just my 2 cents

loaning someone a gun is pretty stupid dude. why would you let someone put bodies on your gun, and then let them give it back to you?

I found this from my old work. Its very interesting how they work.

Some of the other ones I saw were drink bottle guns, but they wern't as usable as the Cell Gun.

Umm, this may be a stupid question, but what modeling are you talking about? I'm hoping it deals with making models of stuff, thus the use of razor blades, but I guess nowadays you can never be too sure, there are probably a few fashion models that use razors in some form of illegal drug abuse. Just curious.
