Hi
I have a 2001 civic and I would like to recalibrate the odometer.
I put a new engine and I would like to have the accurate miles, the difference between the "new" engine and the odometer sign is small but I want to do it just for the experience :screwy:
I had found a webpage before 2 months about a product that does that.
It was a box (with the ciruit inside) that was connected via rs232 with a laptop and they were giving also the s/w with it.
I think the webpage was in Germany.
The price was about $250 :iceslolan
Now that I actually deside to do that I can't find the link  :banghead: and I only manage to find some webpages about products that cost's $8500 :loser: (and work without the need of a laptop)...
So if you know anything pls let me know

Did you know it's against Federal Law to roll back the mileage?

I guess that it is a crime if you are doing that in order to mislead someone...
If you let the other to know about everything I don't think that it is a bad thing...
I know that you'll not believe it -that's why I didn't mention it until now- but I want to increase :banghead: the number(don't worry just for a few K), because the new engine has a few milles more...
As I already mention I'm doing that because I like to play/experience these kind of stuff ...
Otherwise (if someoine wants just to do it) there are a lot of place in the internet (and around here also) that you can have the job done with $50-$100...but this isn't the case...
