I really need an answer!

OK, I came on the forum, and found the part number I need for a remote for my GA (1996 SE). I found one on ebay and bought it, now I need to program it. I tried what you said to do fo a 97, but when I ground the 2 wires together, the doors and trunk cycle, but the horn doesnt beep, and holding the lock/unlock down at the same time doesn't do anything, no matter how long you hold em. It had the right code on the sheet under my spare tire cover, and it has a module where it is supposed to, any ideas? THANKS!!!

Check the battery in the Remote
