Im trying to install some gauges for my civic. But I can't seem to get the black plastic trim peice off. I take out the two screws at the top, and I can get the top half to come out.. but the bottom is stuck in. Any tricks or anything I'm missing??
Thanks!
Thanks!

Thats b/c there are two clips (i dont know what the tech. name for these clips are) but they hold the bottom black piece to the guage cluster. just pull with a little force and try to pull from the bottom evenly. it should just pop out. hope that helps

under the trim there are 2 screws on my 4th gen. i had to figure that one out too, might be similar with newer gens, but i doubt it, seems pretty straightforward for those gens.

there was the two screws at the top, which I got out. But then there was like 3 or 4 clips holding it in, so I had to pry it from the bottom with a screw driver, and it popped right out.

if this is the Nov91-95 civic then you remove the two screws you discribed earlier, then pry out the hazzard light switch and you'll find another screw, remove it and then theres only clips holding it in, I did this with a lot of civics but they are all right hand drive here in Ireland, should be the same on the lefthand drives,(educated guess)
