anyone know how to fix it?!

I've already checked to make sure that the little button is pressed. I've even pressed it down manually and the light STILL stays on. Is there something else that I need to check out? Anyone know how the switch works? I don't see any kind of two metals touching that might complete the circuit if there's supposed to be one. Except for maybe the casing of the button. Let me take a pic here, and I'll post what it looks like if ya'll don't know. year/model of car is in the sig.

pull the wires off of the switch and see if it still stays on, if it goes out then replace the switch. if it stays on then you probably have a bad relay somewhere...sorry, i dont know the car that well to tell you where to look..

Since there is one wire on the switch it makes a ground ..use a volt meter and determine if there is power present on the wire..take a jumper and ground the wire and see if the light goes off.. You will have to look in the service manual to get the wiring diagram and see if there is a relay in the system. If there is not then its most likely a groung fault..

I don't know about all that electronic stuff you guys are talking about... but I had the same problem a while back. Turns out I was staying on because my rear brake pads were so worn that the sensor was messing up. Put on new rear pads and problem fixed.

Might not be that simple for you but goodluck anyhow
