Transmission Conversion

I just recently obtained a 2002 Lancer. I was really dissappointed when my parents brought me an automatic Lancer. I was wondering if it is possible to drop in an Evo 7 engine into my Lancer in the future or just get a transmission change from auto to stick. If I am to just change the transmission does anyone know of where I can get it done and for how much?:alien:

Everyone is trying to see if the Evo motor will fit into the U.S. Lancer, I my self have been working on it. As for the tranny, don't know what to do, you might try seeing if you can trade it in for a stick, but very doubtful. hardtimes man. Anyway, back the the motor swap, possibility exhists that the gen 1 eclipse awd system, and 2.0 DOHC and tranny will swap into our lancers, but unsure.
