Performance Parts

Hey everyone! I was wondering... I have a 2000 Alero GLS 3.4, and so far I've really only done things for looks (neons, stereo system...) but I'm looking into performance parts now... has anyone tried a true dual exhaust on their Alero? I'm a little skeptical, I see alot of fake duals out there that are just Y pipes :rolleyes: I want 2 mufflers and 2 cat's. If you've even seen these around or have one, let me know!! Thanks! :thumbsup:

Due to lack of space in the undercarriage of the vehicle, I highly doubt that true dual exhaust (complete with the cats) is impossible to achieve in the Alero. A Y pipe is probably the only way to go. Let me know if you find anymore about it.

Since I posted the first time, I found out that it is possible, but only if you have it custom made (there's no true dual exhaust kits pre-manufactured). I belong to another forum and several of the members there have true duals that look very nice.

Sweet...so where can I get one of these?

I don't know a lot about alero , but I did see a body kit at andysautosport. Pretty cool I liked it. It maybe to much for some. My brother knows where to get 3.4 stuff. He has a 3.8 gtp and he was talking about finding 3.4 stuff. I will ask him where and try to get back.

hey any person I want to know if someone know how to throw out the lock on the motor because the V6 3.4l motor is lock a 160KM/H....

Are you talking about the speed limiter? For that I believe you have to use a computer tool and reprogram the pcm. Not sure though.
