If you wanna be real cheap, take a saw and cut your stock air pipe and put a filter on the end. That is what I did.
But i am going to make a home depot one soon.
And the one in the like will work. But whatever intake you go with, you should buy a better filter.

Where exactly is the MAS in that system? You won't be saving money when you have to buy a new MAS setup because your pipe doesn't include the stock one.

isn't the MAS only on turbo models?

Well I was wondering that for a while, but I know that non-turbo pontiac's have airflow sensors, and I'm 99% sure that all vehicles have some form of sensor like a hot-wire MAS in order to determine how much fuel to add and such.

The 420a's,NT eclipses, do not have a MAS. We do have MAP (manifold absolute pressure) sensor, and IAT (intake air temp) sensor.

No problem...
I know MAS are not only for turbo cars, cause my friends mustangs has one, i believe.

although when i put my turbo and everything on i put a MAS on because of the larger injectors, with the S-AFC you need the MAS to program it and make it run! its not necessary to put a MAS on when you put a turbo kit on... only if you plan to run a lot of boost which you would need larger injectors and a AFC!

1gs non turbo have a mas in the air filter.

Car manufactures can choose to use MAP or hotwire/karmen/flapper type MASs regardless of induction type. The general rule to remember is that the MAS types measure airflow, while the MAP setups just estimate airflow. The MAS will be accurate even after mods that change airflow, but its restrictive. MAP will not necessarily pick up on airflow enhancing mods (bad) but is much less restrictive. Each has its pros and cons. But either can be used, or converted over. For example, turbo DSMs came with Karmen MAS, and I switched over to a LS1 MAF (MAF Translator). Both measure airflow. If you switch to a VPC however, that is a MAP system and estimates flow. Since a DSMer with a VPC is going to be constantly tuning, the drawback of having to retune after each mod isnt even noticeable. Same for turboing a NT car. You should be tuning and logging just like a turbo car owner, so theres no real drawback there.

I had no idea about the N/A air measuring system, but I know that it doesn't matter the aspiration of a vehicle as to what system it uses.

The MAP measures the amount of air and the density of the air.
