William Hung deserves respect, I know hes not pavarotti at singing but he tied his best and deserves a little respect for going up in front of national tv and singing. It wasnt good I know, but he didnt badmouth anybody and was very respectful to everyone. Now thats something we need more of in this world. Lets just treat Willie Hung with a little more respect.

I see that nobody has anything nice to say except for Silver_GTR34. Good job on the comment. People need to realize that theres more than themselves and that they arent better than everyone else. People like that are like that fat, black woman from new york on the auditions of american idol. They think they are hot shit and simon bet her that she would drive out a whole entire bar, and she actually drove out everybody but one person. LOL I know William Hung in all honesty was horrible but he had the testicular fortitude to go up in national tv and sing like that. Now thats something I dont think I could do. It just saddens me to see what a nation of individualism has done to ourselves. I love America with all my heart, but WE WILL FALL as a nation if we dont turn ourselves around and look out for other people.

Wow...that was beautiful.
I agree that Americans need to show more compassion towards one another, but I sure as hell ain't gonna be the first one to start...evil people will always be present and if you give them one thing, they will take advantage of your hospitality and drain you out of as much as they can. Compassion to my friends and family? Yes, by all means. Compassion to the average American? Hell no. You couldn't convince me a stranger in Wyoming could give a damn about a guy in Alabama. It's not gonna happen.
