intake sound

so i have this problem, right? the cavaliers are so dang quiet!! im used to a 240sx with an exhaust and intake on it. so this is my question. is there any part in the intake area that i can take out to make the intake louder? or just make the car louder anywhere? is there like an intake silencer or something? any help is appreciated.

what motor do you have? if its the LD9 take off the stock s pipe and pull out the "tuner tube". Once you have the s pipe off the car set it aside. then pull out the peice on the box type thing thats still attached to the motor, it will look like a cup/glass about 7 inches long. that might change the sound a little. but if you really want the sound like you heard on a 240 then get an intake and exhuast. i have an iceman intake im looking to sell if you want it, $100 plus shipping (sells for 180ish on their site plus shipping)
