i would seriously need to hear them before i say anything. I've seen audiobahn subs go for the same price

pyramid? Hmm, not familiar with the cheap brands. people say its crap.

I would save money and always buy good quality products

man ... I have a 12" jensen in my on of my boxes ... the mid bass it's producing is crazy ...

some "crappy" companys ... pyramid/jensen/rampage ... are really making decent products now ... I have gone through 2 pair of pioneer subs and 2 pair of MTX ...

there are certain subs that handle bass better then others ... and right now ... my
twin 10 kickers 480 watts kill my old MTX ...
and my single 12" Jensen handles my mid range bass extremely well ...
I want to get 2 more ... for my wife's car ... they will suprise you ...

I've been doing audio for a while now ... 6 years ... and these subs handle my techno ... hiphop and bass tests ... !! :-)

you can get them at WALMART ... hook them in your box ... and try them ... if you don't like them ... bring them back ... I have no problems bringing stuff back to WALMART ... no bill even ... !!

single 12 jensen for mid bass? hmmm.
I've heard pyramid amps. not only are they weak, the bass was distorted.

rampage's 10 dollar head unit i doubt will make good clean sound.

i've heard jensen's new sub line is actually getting better. I have not heard jensen ever so i cannot make any judgements.

I've heard loud subs before. loud CLEAN subs is another thing.

My MTX handled mid bass better ... but they were also 120 $$ each 12"

if you drive over to WALMART ... buy one ... or two ... and keep your bill ...

hook them up ... the bass will surprise you ... very clear and smoth vibe ...


I'm serious about suggesting to buy a set to "try" !!

i wouldnt recommend pyramids.
in calgary they sell them at london drugs. sells 15" subs for like 40 bucks. they are kinda loud but not clear.

would not recommend. save up and buy good speakers you know

But there are entry level and there are competition level in most brands so you can't really judge till you've actually had hands on experience with it ... I've heard of Pyramid amps really putting out the power ..:eek:
