what kind of posi can i put in my 84 cutlass...if i were to go to a junk yard what should i be looking out for...any help will be greatly appreciated...ty :banghead:

80's Camaro (IROC, Z-28), or Firebird (Trans-Am) remember to go after the ring and pinion as well. Your gears probably SUCK! 3.23 - 3.42 - 3.73 are good gears that I have found in those cars. You can also go after Monte Carlo's and Grand Prix, these cars may also have a rear sway bar. BUT if you can find a complete Rear end out of a 80's 442 or Grand national - GRAB IT! they are 8.5 rear ends and bolt right in.
