I have a 93 camaro and I just bought a 97 console, which I will be installing soon, but there is a little space between the console and my radio bezel. I was hoping if anyone out there knows if its possible to convert a 97 dash into a 93?

why would you want to change the dash. the 93-95 dash was soo much cooler, everything angled toward driver, not caring about the passenger, and not to mention theres only one drink holder. what kindof sports car has more than one cup holder? id stay with the 93 dash just for cool points...

I totally agree. When I first got in my friend's mom's '97 I was just disappointed. My '96 dash is s much nicer, climate controls are not down in front of the shifter, and like said, everything is angle toward the driver... it never should have changed.

But to answer the question... can you bolt it right on, or will there be any modification??? Don't get me wrong, love the interior.

I've heard that it does bolt right on, same car, different dash, so makes sense.

a 97-02 Dash won't house 93-96 guages, and the 97-02 guages won't work in a LT1 Car without adapting ALL the signals witha dakota digital box...NOT TO MENTION that the 97-02 guages have a DIGITAL odometer, and the 93-96 have the old wheels still

my '96 is also 120, and i'm guessing there is a way to make everything work, that guy did it

yeah, i didnt mean that they changed in 97 i worded that wrong. they changed in 95 when the 3.8 was introduced. this guy has a 93, which means he has a 3.4 and a 110 speedo, but the speedometer can be reprogrammed for the different speed, just another thing he has to think about...

Here, Here! I'm glad that many people agree that the '93 dash outlay looks better than the newer dash. First time I saw the new LS1 F-Bodies inside I though the Camaro dash now looked cheesier like a Cavalier dash, and the Firechicken dash now looked like a Grand Am dash.
Us older fourth Gen Camaro owners are blessed with much nicer interiors - remember what original fourth gen Camaro leather seats looked like?? Resembled the Vette's in shape (was not the same obviously). This was before GM started sharing the shitty perforated and poorly stitched Grand Prix leather design in the Camaro's and Bonneville's (but at least the Camaro's didn't get that awful square headrest like the Firebird's).
I was also thinking that the shape of the newer dash's is very different and would require so much work to install.
