wow... mondo bummer. but that's more like "owned by flooding" i'll do an owned by summer one in a month by frying an egg outside on the roof of my car or pouring water on the ground and taping how fast it evaporates... somethin that a good 120 degrees shows

Ditto. It gets to around 115-116 in bakersfield city proper and upwards of 120+ out in the fields. It's hard to breathe when summer hits its high point. Ever go to Death Valley in the summer? 127 (52.7C) with no wind... when your shoes begin to melt on the pavement and your feet blister in your shoes if you walk on the tarmac for too long, oh yeah, now THAT is fryin...

i have a teacher who's from pakistan. she says they used to hard boil eggs by burying them in the sand in the summer and digging it up about 5 minutes later. talk about hot.

We haven't seen snow in a few weeks and the tempatures are starting to get less cold, Yea not warm up....just get less cold :lol:
