We wont laugh, well most of us wont. We're all nice, well most of us are. But post a pic and we'll go from there. Look at the top of this forum, there is a sticky post called tutorials. Read through there.

Hey man, don't feel bad, I am only 12 too. Even though you may not be as talented as some of the others on the forums everyone's art is appreciated. Because you know what, no one is as good as they say untill they back it up with some hard evidence. Also don't say you suck, because A - It's only making yourself feel worse about drawing and B - No one else thinks you suck. We never think someone sucks. It's just the way we are. It's genetic.

Well, looking forward to seeing your work, bye

Alex

Hey Do You Think That It Would Be OK To Learn How To Draw A Car By Tracing It First

SeeTheSkyline
02-20-2004, 04:01 PM
yes, but dont use it and say its urs.
just use it to help you figure out how and where to place lines or objects.

But, on the other hand, if it works for you...

You should work on your lines. They are a bit wobbly.

Man I feel old in this forum .........I am 22. Do not worry tracing is a good way to get accustomed to lines and shapes that are present.

It is not easy to trace something and make it look like it was hand drawn but many artist do it as a time saving measure, just do not make it a habit to trace all the time.

Try drawing the the thing first, then tracing, compare the 2, and draw it again. Plus the repetition will give you some practice.

Zcaithaca

i think you sould work on the smoothnessof your lines...if you feel the need...use french curves..they are a great tool!

Desi Z 07

wow... i thought i was young. The drawing isnt bad. I scan my drawings onto my computer, and then look at them there. I think it gives me a better perspective on my drawing, and i know where i have to make adjustments. Give that a shot and see if taht works for you. One of the biggest things i see right now is that your back end is too small. But you can start a new one, and work on that. I'd also take a look at that back rim. Over all its not bad for someone w/ no experience. Good luck with your drawing.

acoustic
