Yellow McLaren

I was browsing through a book called "A century of car design" and I came across a section on Peter Stevens, and there was one picture of a yellow F1 roadcar. So I scanned it just in case, and I am wondering if it is an old photo, or something new. It looks familiar, but I didn't have the patience to go through my collection of McLaren pictures (in other words I'm lazy :D ), so I thought I'd ask. The fourth picture in the gallery is the one I composed of the three scans.

Kind of an old photo, but it's not very common. http://www.genesisautosales.com/DreamCars/McLaren/1994%20McLaren%20F1.jpg

Actually, they seem to be different pictures, but only slightly. They were probably taken on the same day. Although I gotta say, they are taken at slightly different angles, and the car's wheels are turned in one of the pics.

But its not the Sultan of Brunei's car, unless he had 2 yellow F1s.

hu? i assumed this was the car that went to the Brunei and like so many other cars was released and sold through taylor and crawley to the US.

Nah, his yellow F1 had his monogram in the wheel nuts instead of the M and also just to the side of the locks. I think the yellow was slightly paler too.

i'd say mr bernoulli is right, take a photo of the T&C car and put it next to this one, the difference is obvious
