Upgrading my 91' GTS

I just bought a 91' GTS in December, and I'm looking for simple ways to upgrade performance. Nothing like an engine change. So if anyone has suggestions on how to do this without breaking the bank, I would appreciate it.

http://www.hotshot.com/ makes a TRI-Y header for your engine. Very good header. That with a straight thru exhaust system will probably give ya a decent number of extra ponies :). If you want to make a couple more gut or replace your caddilac converter (haha) and strip all the rest of your emission shit, PLUG THE HOLES on your EGR, plug the intake side of the PCV valve and vent the valve cover side with a filter or something. Its not exacly legal but if you live in a state where they dont check (like me) its an essential performance upgrade :). Ive found a good 2 or 3 turbo kits for that engine. One that works well but is slightly overpriced (in my opinion) is the one from http://www.poweredbytoyota.com/

But if you dont want to go the turbo route you can always buy a basic nitrus kit and adapt it (I dont think anyone makes a specific nitrus kit for this car but they are relatively universal) or you could do both... just dont run them at the same time enless you plan on searching the next 10 square miles for your engine head haha. http://www.webcamshafts.com/ makes a street/strip performance cam that works very well with NON-TURBO applications of your engine.

air intake...headers...exhaust...spark plugs...wires...msd 6AL...retard your timing theres kits for that...run more fuel...or just go with a 60 shot nos...

Yeah thats another trick, the perfect fuel/air mixture is 14.7:1 but the perfect horsepower mixture is about 10% greater than that. Disconnect your O2 sensor and youll pickup a few more horsepower on wide open throttle.

Yeah get some good plugs like I bought the $12 a piece Denso Iridium 0.4mm tipped ones for my car :). The best there is! And get a good coil too, I like the MSD Blaster 2s cuz they are cheap and give you alot of volts for your buck (45Kv).

where is the O2 sensor?....what all "emmisions shit" can i strip and how do i do my cat? :D... sorry... but thanks
