Does anyone know what clstr means on the fuse box for an 89 Trans Am? My hatch motor doesn't work even though I replaced it. It doesn't seem to be getting electricity. I think its becasue the fuse in the "clstr" position won't stay and i think this slot is for the hatch motor? The slot seems to be missing the gold metal that holds the fuse there? Any ideas or suggesstions?

the hatch motor in mine is on the ACC(accessory) fuse slot. clstr i think is for the gauge cluster, i could be wrong tho. if you look in your owners manual there's a diagram of the fuse panel and it says specifically what each one is for.

ohhhhh well whydidnt you sayso before. yeah, the hatch pull down is on the accessory fuse. i can look over the schematics and try and find some other places of possible breakage. other than that, get a test light, and go down the wire harness, from the butt end, to the front end, or better yet, from both ends towards the middle, and find where the power stops.
