rally art

my friend and i are attempting to mod his rally art. and i was wondering whats the diffrence beteen the rally arts engine and evo8 besides being 2.0 turbo and intercooler.

the ralliart is based on the new design of lancer with a much better, though still lacking power boost over the oz-rally, with 160 hp, while the evo didn't get a new styling like the other lancers this year b/c it came out just last year :D

actually, the new ralliart will be A LOT easier to modify sucessfully over the former lancers.

to top it off, the evo also is 4wd, and in other countries besides the US, a 6 speed. it's not really fair comparing the two.

i was just wondering... im kinda new when it comes to lancers. and i was just seeing what was up with them and what the diffrences was. i actualy own a 91 celica. but what would you recommend doing to the lancer ralliart?

they're very different
the ralliart car is based on the us spec lancer, while the evolution is different, different nose, tails, etc.

what's the plan you've got for this car?

thats pretty obvious but i was just wondering about the engine..... visual is totaly up to him. if he wants to put a big ass APC sticker on the hood or some stupid shit on it... its totaly up to him... im just concerned about performance. what would provide the maximum ammount of hp.....

There is not much yet for the Ralli-Art lancer yet because it just came out. What I percieve from the ads and specs i have seen is that its mitsubishi's answer to the civic, integra/rsx, etc....they are trying to get into the crowd where the OLDER DSM eclipse stands now. So Im sure there will be performance parts soon enough.

well its about time.... i honestly hate civics and eclipses. and i can say from frist hand that the ralliart has some major power... i cant even keep up in my celica....

the ralli art isn't based on a new design. it has some of the features of a 2004 es of course, but the design is the Evo VII. take a better look buddy. there is an Evo VIII body kit coming out for the ralli art shortly. currently the computer chip is out and some intake and exhast systems are out but very limited. the car is too new to have a huge selection of parts. it is already a fast car, and if it comes out i'm putting the super charger on mine.
